Hello Everyone,
I'm glad you want to find out a little bit more about my shop and myself. I have been a quilter for 26 years and have been doing wool for nine (9) years. It started with a Christmas present from my husband for a wool block of the month quilt. That started my addiction to wool. It easily slid into hooking rugs. I teach rug hooking and wool applique classes. I also dye my own wool and over-dye off the bolt wool.
So, are you curious how the shop got its name? When I was growing up, train tracks ran behind my grandmother's house and I would run out and wave at the engineer and count the cars. I love the sound of trains, so it made sense to call the shop Whistle Stop Wool.
If you are curious when items are added or want to see what is happening in my rug hooking life, then I encourage you to like Whistle Stop Wool's Facebook page. There is a link below.
Wool forever or until the moths eat it.
